On November 16, join Varsity Blues Women’s Basketball Head Coach and two-time Olympian, Tamara Tatham in a conversation and Q&A about anti-racism and sport.
In this virtual table talk, Tamara will be joined by current and former Varsity athletes and students, including an executive member of the BIPOC Varsity Association.
The students will help Tamara unpack what it was like navigating high performance university sports as a Black student athlete, professional player, and coaching staff, with special attention on race and gender equity throughout the discussion.
Following the discussion, attendees will have an opportunity to ask Tamara questions in a curated Q&A session.
Don't miss this amazing opportunity to connect with Tamara and learn about the ways race and sport intersect!
This session is presented as part of U of T Sport & Rec's annual Diversity & Equity Conference.
